Here's the deal with training and pretty much everything else in life- if you arent going to go hard, dont try at all. I dont care if it sounds cliche', its the truth.
I would rather have someone that I train with say to me, "I can't do it today" than go through half ass motions. I never have understood how folks just are THERE, being there shouldn't count at all. I remember when I coached at a college down south and a kid snuck out of the weight room not realizing that there were mirrors everywhere and I was watching him the whole time. I just let him go-who wants someone in there who doesn't want to be there?
Some things you have to do, your job, your kids, stuff like that. But training is a privilege, its supposed to be enjoyable. Just find something else to make you happy, dont waste ONE MINUTE doing what you dont like to do in your spare time.Damn, thats simple, isnt it?
